He came from a hoarding case of over 50 dogs. Revere needs an adult only home that will go slow and continue to show him all of the love that humans have to offer. He finds comfort in other dogs since he came from a hoarding situation, they really bring him out of his shell. Revere is sensitive in his neck area due to his history so he does best with a harness. Revere’s adoption fee is $350. All Paws and Prayers animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention. I was found running in the country, scared of everyone that tried to help me, but finally I was rescued, and now looking for a new home. I am a 2 year old Jack Russell terrier mix weighing in at about 10 lbs. I need a special home. I need a human that understand that I was never socialized with people. Once I trust you, I am a sweetie pie, but it takes time for me to trust. I am skittish and actually terrified of unknown loud unexpected noises, new things, strangers, especially men. I just need introduced slowly. Ok, so that was the bad news. Had to get that part over with! I am a very smart girl. In 2 weeks I was potty trained, crate trained, getting along with the 2 other dogs in the home, loving my foster mom, and slowly coming around to liking my foster dad. I have learned to sit, am treat motivated, love to play fetch. I am a Jack Russell Terrier mix, and need to be kept busy. When excited I can jump and nip, so no young children please. The pound contacted the rescue to help me. I am an old man, but I am happy and wag constantly, I am deaf and mostly blind - I can see motion and shadows. I get along with other dogs and, once I am comfortable, I like to play. I play with people or dogs. However, there are 5 dogs here, so it is overwhelming. I would do best in a house with people or one dog. Also, I would need to be carried up stairs. I can't see them. I will go potty outside, but my foster mommy is working on training me to a potty pad. The place I am staying has a doggy door. I have figured out how to go out, but not how to come back in. I just had a dental and my mouth feels great now. I would be a great companion for a retired person, because sitting on a lap is one of my most favorite things! Can you make the last years of my life the best?
