Meet Jody — A Brave Blind Beauty Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾 Jody is a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who has already weathered more than most. After her owner unexpectedly passed away, her world was turned upside down. Sadly, her owner's extended family is unable to care for her and turned her over to rescue. Now safe in a loving Florida foster home, Jody is thriving. Despite being blind, she navigates her environment confidently — just don’t rearrange the furniture too much! She learns quickly, relies on sound and smell, and as long as she knows you’re nearby, she’s calm and content. What Makes Jody Special • 💖 Sweet & Gentle Soul — Jody loves to snuggle and is happiest curled up beside you. • 🐶 Playful Personality — When she’s happy, she rolls, snorts, and wiggles with joy! • 👩‍👧 Loyal Companion — She has mild separation anxiety, but simple baby gates work great when you’re away for a few hours. • 🚗 Perfect Adventure Buddy — She rides beautifully in the car and enjoys outings in her stroller. • 🚫 No Crates, please! — Being crated makes her extremely anxious, and she will potty if confined. • 🏡 Mostly Housebroken — Due to her blindness, her potty signals can be subtle at first — but once you learn her cues, it’s easy.
