Lucy is a beautiful 4.5-month-old Jack Russell/Shepherd mix (best guess) who is as smart as she is sweet. She currently weighs about 19 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium-to-large sized love bug. Lucy can be a little gentle and reserved when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate, playful personality. She loves playing with her furry siblings and enjoys being part of the action. She does wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, making her a great fit for many types of homes. Lucy had a rough start in life and truly deserves a family who will give her all the love and happiness she’s been waiting for. We welcome and encourage out-of-state adopters and can help coordinate transport to Louisiana, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and many other states.
