Story
LOVES TO CUDDLE WITH HIS HOOMANS  DOB 8/1/25, weight 15 # Hey there, everyone! I’m Pablo, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate ball of energy who’s also a black Jack Russell Terrier/ Chihuahua mix fella with four white slippers! I do best with lots of close family contact. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in Foster Mom’s lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I adore playing with the other small dogs in my foster home, and I get along great with the resident cats and with kids. My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because, young as I am, I’m learning to walk on a leash and am crate-trained. True confessions: I’m still working on getting housebroken. I was found wandering the mean streets of Houston. Thank heavens a Good Samaritan scooped me up because I was much too small and young to fend for myself. I was so grateful to be welcomed into my foster home, but I’m now ready to bring my adorable puppy perkiness and loving personality to my forever home. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave itsy-bitsy paw prints all over your heart. HOPE ID D25-1227-0057 Pablo’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. To apply online:http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Pablo will be this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Meet the charming and playful girl, Coco! She is a bundle of joy and loyalty, always ready to play with her toys, a quick zoomie, or a good cuddle. With her quick wit and loving nature, she is sure to win your heart.Coco is an intelligent girl who is eager to learn and please. She knows basic commands like sit and stay. She is potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She is good with most dogs but can get a little jealous if she has to share too much. She is not a cat lover, so a cat free home is best. She is a Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs in at 36lbs. The perfect size for anyone`s home. She does is great with kiddos and would make a fantastic family dog.Coco can be transported from Houston to most states for an additional fee of $300. Her adoption fee is $275. She is vaccinated and spayed.

Story
Meet Egret! Breed: Terrier MixGender: FemaleAge: PuppySize: Small ([WEIGHT])Good with: Other dogs, patient people who understand shy puppies Egret is part of our adorable bird-themed litter—along with her siblings Ibis, Pelican, and Swan—and she's been on quite the journey! This little Terrier mix came to us very shy and uncertain about the world, but over time she's gotten SO much more confident. We're watching her little personality finally start to shine through, and it's been absolutely beautiful to witness. Here's what we know so far: Egret runs and plays happily with other dogs! Her canine friends have been her confidence builders, and she's comfortable being herself around them. People, though? Still a little spooky. She needs time to warm up and decide you're safe before she'll let her guard down. But once she does? You'll get to see the real Egret emerge—the one who's been hiding under all that shyness. Because Egret was so timid for so long, we're still learning who she really is. Her personality is only just starting to show through, which means her adopter gets the special privilege of helping her discover her full potential! She'll need a patient home that understands shy puppies aren't broken—they just need time, encouragement, and the space to blossom at their own pace. A home with another confident, friendly dog would be ideal for Egret. She learns from watching other dogs, and having a canine mentor would help her continue building her confidence as she grows. If you're ready to be part of a shy puppy's transformation story, Egret is waiting to show you who she can become! Ready to welcome Egret into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful girl! Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2538725##
