Story
Looking for a professional shadow who is paid exclusively in belly rubs and forehead kisses? Meet Piper, the 23 lb bundle of joy who is ready to turn your home into a nonstop cuddle fest! Piper is the definition of a happy go lucky girl who arrived on the scene with zero fears and a tail that never stops wagging. She is a total social butterfly when it comes to humans, offering up a silly, sweet personality that is impossible not to fall in love with. Although she may take a moment to warm up, the wait is absolutely worth it. Whether she’s showing off her goofy side or leaning in for some serious snuggle time, Piper’s main goal in life is to be wherever you are. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a celebration just by being in the room! Watch Piper’s video and see those happy wags in action! https://youtu.be/PQWHyZt9a7k We suspect this little lady is a Rat Terrier mix, weighing in at a perfectly portable 23 lbs. She has a coat like a canvas; deep, dark brown patches are set against a bright white background, with tiny, delicate speckles dusted throughout like a finishing touch from a painter's brush. She is the ultimate companion small enough to join you on all your errands and easy to tuck under your arm, but sturdy enough for a good walk in the park! Of course, as with all our rescue superstars, her breed mix is our best educated guess, but her 100% sweetheart status is a absolute fact! Piper is what we call a 'velcro dog' in the best possible way. She doesn’t just want to be in the same house as you; she wants to be your right hand gal! She might not be able to read the GPS (mapping is hard when you don’t have thumbs!), but she is the most polite passenger you’ll ever meet. Piper is a total pro in the car who settles right in and just enjoys the 'vibe' of a good road trip playlist. While some dogs crave the rugged Great Outdoors, Piper is a homebody at heart who prefers the climate controlled life of indoor lounging. If you’re looking for a companion to binge watch your favorite shows or a quiet partner to hang out with while you work from home, Piper is your girl. How does Piper feel about other dogs? Well, while she isn't much for rough-and-tumble wrestling, she’s more than happy to coexist peacefully with other pups and will even graciously share a prime sun spot for a joint sunbathing session. She doesn’t really play with other dogs because she truthfully prefers hanging out with humans over her canines. She’d be a fantastic match for a household with another laid back dog who respects her space or a home where she can truly thrive as your one and only. Whether she’s lounging near a furry friend or soaking up all the human attention as the star of the show. Piper is a devoted shadow who finds her greatest joy in being the heart of your home. A feline roommate? Piper actually gave us the deets on how she feels about cats, and she’s decided she’d prefer a home without one! She met a cat recently and thought they were very interesting little critters, maybe even a bit too interesting. Piper’s looking for a home where she can be the undisputed star of the show and keep all those forehead kisses for herself! If there was an Olympic sport for cuddling on the couch, Piper would be taking home the gold every single time. She is essentially a professional roommate. Here’s why she’s the ultimate houseguest : • Crate Queen: Piper is 100% crate trained. She treats her crate like her own private VIP lounge it’s her me time sanctuary where she goes to recharge her cuteness batteries. • Leash Legend: Taking her for a walk is a total breeze. She’s a dream on the leash, making every stroll a stress free adventure. • The World is Her Buffet (of Smells): While she loves her naps, she’s also a little explorer! She lives for "sniffari" sessions where she can get out, wag her tail, and capture every single interesting scent the neighborhood has to offer. Because of her chill vibes and manageable size, Piper is 100% apartment friendly. Whether you live in a cozy studio or a house with a sprawling yard, Piper just wants to be wherever you are. As long as there’s a soft spot on the couch and a human to shower with affection, she’ll be the happiest girl in the world. Piper is a silly, cuddly, and endlessly devoted companion who just wants to find her "person." She’s ready to bring a lifetime of smiles and lean in hugs to a very lucky family. Story
Meet Ellie — your daily dose of sunshine, laughter, and pure joy wrapped up in one adorable little terrier body. Ellie is a 2 ½-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier mix who lives life at full speed and with her whole heart. From the moment you meet her, you’ll notice her bright, happy energy and the way she seems to make everything feel just a little bit more fun. She’s the kind of dog who wakes up excited for the day, ready to play, love, and soak up every bit of attention she can get. Look how adorable she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/y9AcxeTtH88?si=HAW1GSZ0XWRIMbAF This girl absolutely loves love. Whether she’s rolling right into your lap for belly rubs, leaning into you for pets, or happily dancing around to make you smile (yes—she can actually do a cute little dance!), Ellie thrives on connection with her people. She isn’t just affectionate—she’s fully devoted to being your happy little shadow and your built-in source of entertainment. Ellie is also a playful, energetic spirit who is always ready for action. Toys, zoomies, games, exploring—if it sounds fun, Ellie is already there. She’s currently in a foster home with multiple other dogs and is very social, especially when it comes to playtime. She loves having dog friends who are just as excited about playing as she is. In fact, she would do best with a canine companion who can match her enthusiasm and keep up with her playful personality. She just gets so excited to have fun that she can come on a little strong with more laid-back dogs—but it all comes from a place of pure joy and eagerness. Because of her social nature, Ellie would thrive either as: • The only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself, or • With a playful, high-energy dog who will happily romp around with her What makes Ellie extra special is her personality. She’s not just cute (though she absolutely is with that scruffy face and bright eyes)—she’s funny. She has this silly, expressive way about her that keeps you smiling. Between her little dance moves, her playful antics, and her love of flopping dramatically into your lap for attention, she brings so much life and laughter wherever she goes. At the end of the day, Ellie is a dog who just wants to love big, play hard, and be right by your side through it all. She’s looking for a home that will embrace her joyful energy, appreciate her goofy charm, and give her the active, loving life she deserves. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you smiling, keep you moving, and remind you every single day how fun life can be—Ellie is your girl. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Roxy is a 10 month old spayed female 12 lb Jack Russell mix. She’s timid, sweet and gets along well with other animals in foster. Roxy seems house trained and could continue to work on using a crate. Story
Foxy is a 10 month old puppy who is spayed and 11 lbs. She’s mostly Jack Russell and has the spirit to prove it! This pint sized gal is active, playful and adores children. She must have been a kids dog as that’s what she knows and loves. Foxy does alright with other dogs and came from a foster with cats and was deemed cat safe. She’s learning the ropes of house living, potty training and chewing her items. She’s also just learning about leashed walks. This tiny timid girl would do best in a home with a clearly established and confident dog. She’ll also flourish with continued obedience training. Bonus if you have a child as she’s most happy around one. Story
This darling boy is a total heart stealer who is ready to blossom into your most devoted companion! He is the definition of a "hang out" dog once he knows you’re his person, he is all about being by your side and soaking up the love. Whether you’re relaxing with a book or moving through your daily routine, he’s happiest just being part of the pack and following your lead with a wagging tail. Want to see those adorable ears in action? Check out his adoption video below to see him showing off his sweet personality! https://youtu.be/2MVHPb3dVqU The Mystery Mix Perfection We like to think of him as a "designer rescue" blend part mystery, part magic, and 100% adorable! We believe Jack Jack is Jack Russel Terrier mix, he has that endearing look that makes everyone stop and say "aww." He is only 22lbs! A manageable size, compact enough to be your favorite travel buddy but big enough to give the world's best hugs. He’s already mastered the art of the afternoon nap; he just needs your living room to make it official. He is currently thriving in a foster home where he’s learning all about the good life! Jack Jack shows us that he is a total pro when it comes to domestic bliss. He’s been a gentleman in his crate and handles car rides like a seasoned traveler, quietly taking in the sights. Being in a foster home has allowed his gentle, sensitive side to really come forward, proving he's ready for a family of his own. When it comes to other dogs, this boy is a total rockstar! He is incredibly polite and respectful, making him a dream addition to a home with existing pups. He has a "go with the flow" attitude. While he’d love a home with a low to medium energy buddy to show him the ropes, he can also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the undivided attention himself! Curious about how he feels about feline friends? He’s been a total gentleman! He is very respectful of their space and has shown a wonderful ability to just relax and coexist. We even caught him lounging on the couch right near a kitty friend without a care in the world! Since every cat has its own unique "cattitude," we’d love to see how he does in a sleepover with a feline to make sure they’re destined to be best buds. This sweet boy is a versatile champion who would be absolutely thrilled in an apartment! He doesn’t need a massive yard to be content; he just wants a quiet neighborhood where he can sniff the roses at his own pace. One of his cutest traits? He is an A+ student when snacks are involved and is a complete gentleman during mealtime! In short, he is a gentle, resilient soul who is ready to reward his forever family with a lifetime of unwavering devotion and soft, happy tail wags. He’s a true treasure just waiting to be found!
