Kelvin (6/2/25) was born on St Thomas in conditions that were less than adequate for newborn pups. Kelvin is a classic “coconut retriever” JRT/terrier mix. Mom and Dad are both around 35 pounds. Kelvin has come out of his shell and is doing wonderful in this foster home. He loves being with other pups, is learning housebreaking skills and leash walking and loves toys! He is scheduled for his next set of vaccines and neutering. Introducing Brooke❤️ Brooke (7/15/19) is a lovable, full of energy Jack Russel Terrier from the beautiful island of St Croix USVI. Brooke and her “sister” Mo were abandoned by their owner and rescued by Cruzan Satos Rescue before arriving at Pet Search. Brooke is 27 pounds of love with the happiest smile on her face all the time. Since arriving at Pet Search, Brooke has had the opportunity to explore wet cold grass, a little frost, rain, falling autumn leaves, yards to run and play and a foster mom that is happy to cuddle her and give her kisses. Brooke returns those kisses happily! Brooke is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped and 4DX negative. She plays very well with other dogs and, in typical JRT fashion, will chase cats if they run from her. Brooke travels well, is crate trained and would live to have a family of her own for Christmas. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Found on a freezing night at the beginning of 2025, this tiny survivor has had quite the journey. Just days after rescue, she broke her leg - likely from being malnourished, as it happened during a playful jump. Her amazing foster family has spent months nursing her back to health and helping her transform her into a lovable, snuggly, wildly clever family pup. About Punky: Personality: Smart, energetic, loyal, and hilariously quirky Good With: • Dogs – loves them! • Kids – great, just a little rough when she’s extra playful • Cats – she LOVES them; they don’t always love her enthusiasm Bonus Feature: Will chase away mice, raccoons, and any other unwanted home invaders She’d make an incredible mountain biking partner, running buddy, or hunting/working companion - anything active where she can put her brain and energy to good use! Note: She has come a long way, but she’s still a bit of a work-in-progress. Her ideal adopter will have patience, a sense of humor, and time to continue her training.
