He’s shy and skittish, preferring to observe from a cozy hiding spot before deciding it’s safe to come out. But with patience and kindness, Lincoln begins to show his gentle, loving side. Lincoln would thrive in a quieter home where he can feel secure and take things at his own pace. He does best with another friendly, confident cat who can help him feel more comfortable, but he’s not a fan of dogs or small children, as they’re a bit too overwhelming for him right now. If you have a calm household and an open heart for a sensitive soul, Lincoln may be the perfect match. With time and trust, he’ll blossom into a devoted companion. I'm Arie. I'm a healthy little girl only about 6 months old. I was found as a stray with my two sisters and my mom. No idea where I came from. I'm timid, but I want to love. And, I have the cutest 1/2 tail, indicating that I'm likely part American Bobtail. Are you the one to be my new love of life? If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, are treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormed #adoptdontshop ##2615135##
