This boy may have a mysterious past, but his future is looking bright! From his gorgeous coat to his goofy underbite to his wagging tail, Benny will be the perfect fit when he joins your family! Below is a note from Benny’s foster. “Benny is a very loving and cuddly dog once you get to know him. He loves belly rubs and will often flop over and look at me until I crouch down and give him attention. In the mornings, he wakes me up with a wagging tail and a toy in his mouth. He has extremely soft fur which is a joy to pet. He is such a happy boy, who loves to prance around with his toys and show off his love and excitement about the world. Benny wakes up around 8 AM and has breakfast while I get ready for the day. We do a morning walk where he explores the world around him and does his business. During the day, he lounges around or plays with his toys. He is great at keeping himself entertained while I get work done. He gets another walk in the evening and then has dinner. At night he likes to cuddle while I watch TV and then he heads to bed around 8 PM. Benny is fully housetrained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house since he arrived. He has done well with older experienced kids, adults, and other dogs he has met. Benny needs time to settle in to any new environment, and will require a home who has experience with handling dogs. He is still working on perfecting his leash walking skills, but he is very eager to please! Benny does not love wheels (think skateboard, rollar skates, scooters, bikes not cars) and he will bark at them when he sees them. Weird phobia but a man is entitled to his mysteries!” Benny is only an option for those who have owned a dog in the past 5 years. Due to his smaller size, children in the home should be over the age of 10 and used to dogs. September 28, 2023, 12:22 am
