Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi! I'm Valerie. I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue because my owner couldn't keep me anymore. I was born with a birth defects in my back legs, my legs don't straighten but that doesn't stop me from getting around. I had all my teeth pulled as they were very rotten, I now eat Fresh Pet dog food and love it.I love being on my foster dad's lap. I play with the other small dogs in my foster home. I am afraid of big dogs and cats, I was terrorized by a big cat.Can you be my furever home?
