Meet Pebbles, a dainty little heartbreaker with a flair for subtlety. She’s looking for a human with a soft touch and a lot of patience—think “quiet evenings in” rather than “house party central.” Pebbles is a bit shy around people, but she’s made peace with the resident dog and cat in her foster home, so she’s not above having furry friends. Strangers might get the slow-blink treatment at first, but give her time and she’ll start to show her softer side. She’s not the type to be picked up and paraded around, but if you’re sitting quietly, she’ll happily accept all the head scratches and gentle pets you can offer. If Pebbles had a dating profile, her bio would read “My love language is staring at you from across the room until I decide you’re safe.”All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application

🐾 Meet Turbo: Three-Wheel Drive, Full-Speed Love! ❤️10 years young, three legs, and a whole lot of love to give!Turbo was found hopping around the streets of Baytown before being picked up by animal control. Now, we’re not sure what adventures this three-legged gentleman had in his former life, but one thing is certain—he’s ready to trade street life for the sweet life! 😻This lovable tripod was simply too sweet to be released back onto the streets, so the shelter reached out to Mission for Paws in hopes we could help this senior sweetheart find his very own retirement home.At 10 years old, Turbo has officially graduated from the Kitten School of Chaos and earned his PhD in Relaxation. Forget the midnight zoomies, curtain climbing, and redecorating your house with shredded toilet paper. Turbo is looking for the finer things in life: a sunny windowsill, a comfy bed, a reliable meal plan, and a human to call his own.And don’t let his age fool you! Well-cared-for indoor cats can live well into their teens and sometimes beyond 20. Turbo may have a little silver in his whiskers and one less leg on the odometer, but he’s still got plenty of love left in the tank!Turbo has been examined by a veterinarian, is fully vetted, and is in good health. His only missing piece is a forever family. We’re hoping someone will look beyond his age and his missing leg and see what we see—a wonderfully sweet, deserving gentleman who has earned the right to spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love.Three legs. Ten years. One big heart. Zero interest in ever being homeless again. ❤️Could you be Turbo’s happily ever after? 🐾All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application

Meet Sophie!Sophie is a beautiful 4-month-old blue-eyed Siamese with a gentle soul and a serious love for cuddles. Named after Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle, she may be a little more reserved than her namesake’s adventurous companion, but once she gets to know you, she’ll quickly show you just how sweet she is.Sophie may take a few minutes to warm up, but once she decides you’re her person, she’s all in! Her absolute favorite place to be is sitting right on her human. If there’s a lap available, Sophie would like to formally request it.She’s gentle, affectionate, and loving, with a calm and mellow personality. She enjoys being close to her people and will happily settle in for some quality cuddle time.Like any playful kitten, Sophie is still learning that fingers are for petting, not playing! She’s working on remembering that toys are much more appropriate for those playful little pounces and bites. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who might need a few minutes to get comfortable but will reward your patience with cuddles, purrs, and a permanent spot on your lap, Sophie could be your girl! All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application
