Story
Meet Lucien (pronounced Loo-shin), a friendly, affectionate 3.5-year-old German Shepherd / Chow Chow mix with a plush coat and warm brown eyes. Lucien is a gentle cuddle companion indoors with relaxed, mid-level energy. He loves sleeping nearby, is fully crate trained, knows "sit" and "stay," and walks well on a leash/prong collar. He is also making great progress with muzzle training. Due to a high prey drive and selectivity around other dogs, Lucien must be the only pet in an experienced home. He has dog-reactive tendencies on leash and needs a dedicated, confident handler who can proactively manage him. He has a broken tooth that causes no issues and requires a strict pork-free diet to prevent digestive upset. Lucien is half-altered (unilateral cryptorchidism; up to date on Simparica Trio). He will come with his crate, supplies, and PRN medications. He has so much love to give and will thrive with an owner who understands working breeds!
