Story
A happy-go-lucky 7 years young medium sized girl is looking for a bestie for life. Best if owner is familiar with the Jindo breed, or is willing to do some research. Rides in the car like an angel 😇.... Only rehoming due to family health issues. 3-3-3 rule was spot on when we adopted her. A little patience, and you will have a friend for life. Good with kids...maybe 9+ years old who can understand her need for personal space and slow introductions. Walks or hiking are her favorite things to do....sniffing is so much fun along the way.Loves her tennis balls, and enjoys a game of fetch...will bring the ball back to you and drop it at your feet.Happy on a quick walk or a brisk hike. Very quiet in the house.

Story
Meet Teddy, a 1-year-old Chow Chow with a gorgeous mane that won’t quit! Teddy is still learning how to feel comfortable with handling and can be extremely timid around new people. She is a sweet and sensitive soul who is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to build confidence and trust. Because Teddy is still working through a lot of fear, a securely fenced yard with a minimum 6-foot fence is required to help keep her safe. She may be shy, but she can definitely be won over with tasty cheese and chicken treats! Teddy is also still figuring out how she feels about other dogs and generally prefers to be left alone. A meet-and-greet at the shelter will be required to ensure a good fit with any resident dogs. Due to her fearful nature and sensitivity, Teddy is looking for a home without young children. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Teddy has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
