Story
She is a very calm and "chill" girl who loves her daily walks and running freely. She has a heart of gold and has lived peacefully with a newborn baby, watching them grow up to 5 years old. She is incredibly gentle and kind with children. Ideal Home: I truly wish for a home with a fenced backyard where she can run and play safely. She would do best in a relatively quiet environment. Personality & Traits: • Gentle with Kids: Proven track record of being patient and kind with young children. • Activity Level: Loves walking and running, but is very relaxed indoors. • Socializing: She takes a little bit of time to get to know other dogs. She prefers "one-on-one" time to feel comfortable, but once she opens up, she is very playful! • Sensitive Soul: She is very scared of thunder and loud noises (she will shiver and needs comfort). She also gets stressed around barking dogs. If you are looking for a loyal, sweet, and quiet companion who will love your family deeply, she might be the perfect

Story
FINNA is a fun little firecracker of a girl! She appears to be a Finnish Spitz, about 1 year old and fully grown at 22 pounds. She's an energetic girl who loves to run and play, perfectly suited to an active home. She has the sweetest little face and absolutely spectacular floofy tail. Her style of begging for pets and treats is absolutely adorable. She has a bubbly outgoing personality and loves to meet new people and make new friends. Finna needs a home where she will get plenty of playtime and lots of attention and cuddles. She's great with other dogs. If you'd like to meet Finna, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Finna at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30 pm at PetSmart Eastgate.  Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 18, 2026, 6:48 pm
