Story
Melody is a friendly family dog looking for a new home. She is used to kids and likes to play, but can be rambunctious enough to knock down a small child. One thing to note is that she doesn't like her snout messed with. She may pick up her lips just a bit to let you know she doesn't like it, but is not aggressive. She would be great on walks and needs moderate exercise, which we are sure would be provided during playtime in the yard. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov. Or by calling the shelter at 901-757-7358.
