Story
I am posting this very sadly, we have to rehome our Jindo, named Ira. She was born 12/12/2020 and we have had her since she was around 10 weeks old. She is very sweet to people. She's been around older kids (7 and up).She would most likely be fine around younger kids, she has just never been around them, so we cannot say for sure. She has never shown any aggression to anybody and loves people. She needs to go to a home with no other dogs or cats. She knows basic commands and is fully potty trained. She listens very well and is more motivated by affection than treats. She is from HSI and was part of their campaign to end the meat dog trade. She was actually featured on a billboard and her photo was used in an exhibit that traveled around the US. If you have questions please reach out, I am fully transparent about her and free to answer any questions. We just want a home where she will be loved and well taken cared of. We adore her and just want what's best for her.

Story
Meet Appa! Appa is the sweetest little guy with a whole lot of love to give! He’s wonderful with other dogs and cats, and he previously lived in a home with children. He’s potty trained, has great house manners, and doesn’t bother visitors. He can even use a designated potty spot when getting outside isn’t possible. Talk about a good boy! A few things Appa’s future family should know: • He’s still working on his leash skills and seems much more accustomed to running and playing off-leash in a yard. • He LOVES car rides! • He is VERY food motivated and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. • He’s a little counter surfer, so he’ll need some help learning to keep those paws on the floor. • Crates and grooming aren’t exactly his favorite things, but he does well loose in the house. • He’s also a self-appointed security officer who will alert you if a dangerous blinking light or suspicious leaf blows past the door. Appa is incredibly lovable, easygoing, and ready to be someone’s very best little buddy. ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey.
