Meet Rockhopper! Rockhopper is the runt of the litter, but don’t let his size fool you—this Malamute–German Shepherd mix still has the heart and spirit of a large-breed dog. While he likely won’t grow quite as big as his siblings, he will still be a big, strong boy. Rockhopper has already overcome more than most puppies ever will. At just 3 days old, his foster mom noticed signs of Puppy Swimmer Syndrome. He was immediately placed in a brace and began four weeks of physical therapy. Thanks to this early intervention and dedicated care, Rockhopper is expected to live a long, happy, and completely normal life. This special little guy is full of personality. Though he’s the smallest, he loves to pick on his siblings, proving he can hold his own—but when playtime is over, he’s a total cuddle bug who enjoys being close to his people. Rockhopper is a true survivor with a big heart, and he’s ready to find a family who will love him as much as he deserves. 🐶💕 Rockhopper will be neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped.
