She’s a small mixed breed with a beautiful blonde and white coat, weighing just over 10 pounds — the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. ✨ About Rosie: • Female, approx. 6.5–7 years old • Spayed • Housebroken • Knows basic commands like sit and come • Good with children (has been around toddlers and preteens) 🐶 With other pets: Rosie has lived around many animals — both big and small dogs, and even cats. She may act like she wants to chase a cat at first, but she has successfully coexisted peacefully in the same home. With dogs, she generally does well but prefers having her own space and can be a little possessive of her person. 💔 Personality & special considerations: Rosie bonds deeply with her owner and struggles with severe separation anxiety. She is very smart and can escape kennels or closed rooms when stressed. She also does not tolerate nail trims well. There has been one bite incident in four years — involving a stranger who rushed quickly into the home. Otherwise, Rosie is a loving, loyal girl who just needs a calm, patient environment where she feels secure. 🩺 Health: No known medical issues. MING IS THE BEST, SWEETEST AND MOST WONDERFUL DOG...EVER. He came to me when my eldest son became disabled (and unemployed) a little over a year ago. We think Ming is between 4-5 years old, he loves to run around in the back yard but his favorite pastime is sleeping on the living room floor...and eating people food (occationally). Ming is having seizures. They started about 6 months ago...one small, short episode roughly every now and then but in the past two days he has had several (3 the day before yesterday and 3 yesterday...they were bad ones and lasted for about 60-90 seconds. I am on a small fixed income and work part time just to make ends meet. There is never enough after rent, food, electricity, insurance, etc. to take Ming to a vet and I am terrified for him...and for us. We cannot bear the thought of surrendering him to an animal shelter and we would rather find a loving, capable home for him as opposed to euthanasia.

Case #59737773. Maize was born August 2024. Maize is very outgoing and friendly. She's not a large dog, but very pretty - and she has a purple tongue! Maize came to the shelter as a stray. The shelter is very full right now so unfortunately Maize is in the back since there is no kennel space for her up front. You can still meet her, just come by the shelter and ask to meet her. We'd love to see this black beauty find her furever home! This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00 cash or check only.
