History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: This extroverted lady is ready to meet her forever family. She’s not shy in the least. She is happy to meet new people, dogs, and even cats. With people, she wants to be pet, to play, to be next to you, and give you kisses. She would love for you to take her for a walk. We are working on not jumping up to greet you and not pulling on her leash. With dogs, she is excited to meet them and wants to play. She can be a bit overbearing trying to get them to play. My old lady is not into it, so we are working on Sky not trying to make the other dog play. With cats, she is very curious but not aggressive. My cats stand their ground, so she gives them space. I’m not sure what she would do if they ran from her, though. We are still getting to know her but so far have found that she is potty trained and will sit for you. She doesn’t love the kennel but will sleep in it all night in your room, not in a room by herself. She is medium to medium-high energy but will settle nicely. She’s a sweet girl with a fun personality.

History: Georgette is a stunning and unique momma who needed a second chance from a rural area in North Dakota. She arrived to rescue with her striking young puppies who are sweet, friendly, and adventurous. They are all now officially accepting adoption interest and hope to meet you soon! A Note from the Foster: Georgette, AKA GG is sweet, playful, and full of love! GG is happiest when she’s running, playing tug-of-war with her favorite toy, or cuddling up close after a day of fun. She’s a total lover who gives the best kisses and will make sure you always feel loved and adored. GG would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, runs, and playtime, but also loves to relax and snuggle up together when it’s time to unwind. She does great with other dogs who match her energy and absolutely adores kids! Cats, however, are not her thing because she has a high prey drive, so she’d prefer a feline-free home. She’s crate-trained, polite on leash, with some jumping up that can be managed, and non-reactive to other dogs when out and about. Like many pups, GG can be a little protective of her special treats or bones, so her forever family should help her keep working on that with patience and understanding. GG is ready to find her forever family, one that’s ready for adventure, laughter, and endless love. Could that be you?
