Hi everyone, I am Freya, a 3 1/2 year old female Karelian Bear mix. My family recently had to surrender my brother Beau and I back to BARS through no fault of our own. I had a torn ACL in my right hind leg, but I was lucky enough to recently have surgery and I am now doing great. I love to be around my people and just want to be wherever you are. I am good with other dogs and cats, but I do try to steal all the attention. I actually try to herd the other animals away, but I am not aggressive when doing it. I do have a high-pitched bark, but I don't bark outside. I am crate trained and walk very well on a leash. I am currently 48 lbs/21.8 kg. I will do best in a home where my family is home more than gone, and if there could be minimal stairs it would be fantastic for me! If you are looking for a companion dog who wants nothing more than to be with you helping with daily activities I am the perfect dog for you. Foster mom says I am a very sweet goofy little guy who will entertain himself all day with his stuffies. My favorite thing to do is to go on adventures. I walk nicely with a no pull harness. I like other dogs but would be happy to be the only dog in the house. I have quickly learned most basic commands. I do sometimes get excited and will nibble his peoples hands and arms. We're working on that. I am still a pup. I do well in my kennel throughout the day, but will sing a very sad song all night. I really prefer to sleep on a dog bed in my person's room. I'm not a huge guy, only about 60 pounds and is unlikely to get much bigger. I've been all vetted and am now ready to go to my forever home.
