Story
POLAR BEAR HAS A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE OF ONLY $50 THROUGH MAY 15TH, THANKS TO THE BISSELL EMPTY THE SHELTERS ADOPTION EVENT. Polar Bear came to Furkids because his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Furkids took care of his medical needs and he is now a healthy and happy boy. Polar Bear gets along with other dogs, although he mostly ignores them, same with cats. Going on walks and learning tricks are some of his favorite things. Polar Bear does have some resource guarding behaviors and needs to go to a home willing to work with him on that. Because of this, Polar Bear would do best in a home with older children or adults only. In typical Cattle Dog fashion, Polar Bear is very high energy. He is learning to be gentle and in his foster home and is doing well. We know Polar Bear would make a great companion to the right, patient family! Polar Bear is 35lbs. and approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 03/05/2020). Polar Bear has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Polar Bear's adoption fee is $175. If you want more information about Polar Bear, please submit a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
