Great dog for a home with another dog or his sister Freddie as the two have become close. Wally loves kids aged 7 and up as toddlers scare him. He loves lounging on the deck, hanging with his sister Freddie and fellow foster dogs. He is about 35lbs, crate/dog door trained. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. We adopted Zeus from Homeward Bound Osan animal shelter in Korea when he was 9 months old. Normally, Korea will not let their dogs leave their country. They made an exception for us. Because he was born without a tail. So he is kind of rare. You won't find a lot of his breed in the states. He is an energetic dog that loves to run and go for walks. He is house trained and does well when left alone. He has been aggressive with our other dog over food. He is not kid friendly which is why we need to find him a new home. Zeus would do well as a single dog with someone who like to run or go hiking.
