Story
Dezi is an 8-year-old Chow Chow with a big heart and an even bigger mane! This handsome guy was originally owned by a veteran who loved him deeply but can no longer care for him due to health reasons. I stepped in temporarily to help, but unfortunately, my allergies make it impossible for me to keep him long-term. Now Dezi is looking for his next (and hopefully forever) home. Dezi has spent most of his life as the only pet and tends to enjoy a peaceful, low-animal household. Like many chows, he’s independent and dignified but has a sweet and social side with his humans once he trusts you. He’s not neutered, and while he’s mostly a mellow homebody, he can be reactive around other dogs, especially if they’re too forward. He’s not a fan of cats at all, so a cat-free home is a must.
