Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Meet Boone, a handsome chocolate Poodle/Lab (F1 NOT Hypoallergenic) cross puppy with a heart as big as his paws! Boone was born on 10/11/2025 and currently weighs 18 pounds. His mom is a black Standard Poodle, and while dad is unknown, he was clearly a Labrador Retriever—giving Boone that classic doodle look and loving personality. Boone is very sweet, playful, and affectionate, and he truly thrives around people. He gets along great with everyone he meets and would make a wonderful addition to a family home. Boone would love having kids to play with, a yard to explore, and plenty of time for cuddles after a fun day. He has the easygoing, social nature that makes him a great fit for busy households as well as calmer family settings. As a young puppy, Boone is still working on house training and will need a family willing to provide patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he continues learning. With guidance and love, he’s sure to grow into a well-mannered and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a playful, loving puppy to grow up alongside your family, Boone could be the perfect match! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
