At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

🧡 Meet Koda 🧡 A fluffy teddy bear who believes every person he meets is a new best friend. Koda is a gorgeous fluff ball with that signature lion-like look and a big personality to match. He has many of the traits people love in those proud, fluffy northern breeds, including loyalty to his people, a confident presence and a playful, curious spirit. Despite his regal looks, Koda is all about love and attention and happily welcomes affection from everyone he meets. He is crate trained, doing well as he continues working on potty training and has proven to be wonderful with kids, cats and other dogs. With his stunning coat, charming personality and affectionate nature, Koda is ready to become the center of someone’s world.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
