Meet Nelly! This beautiful, fluffy girl arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 6/9, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Now she's hoping to find a loving forever home where she'll always be safe and cherished. Volunteers describe Nelly as everything a puppy should be - friendly, curious, playful, and eager to please. She's already learned a few commands, including sit and lay down, and she absolutely loves attention. Offer her some gentle pets, and she'll happily roll over for belly rubs. Please ensure that you have the time, patience, and energy to take on a puppy - they're very cute, but also a lot of work! Nelly is a sweet, affectionate pup ready to bring joy to her new family! Nelly is approximately 10 months old and weighs 31 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Nelly is waiting patiently in kennel 47; her ID # is 19771. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
