Story
Juniper, one of the three little girls in our fruit-inspired litter that recently found their way into ARPO's care, is a hilariously vocal little firecracker that spends a majority of her days bringing laughter and smiles to her foster mom. This little one's litter was surrendered to a shelter up north, and ARPO decided to drive up there to get the remaining group and pull them out of the shelter environment so that they would have the opportunity to experience fancy living in a house full of furry friends. If I had to choose a word to describe Juniper, it would be "vivacious". This pup has been strutting her stuff and making sure that her foster mom knows who is in charge ever since day one. You can always count on Juniper to get her sisters riled up and initiate some impressive wrestling and play time games. Whether she is singing the song of her people or running around trying to find the easiest path to a food bowl, she never fails to do so with pizazz. However, don't let her fool you! She DOES have a calmer side, and she will immediately settle and turn into the sweetest cuddle bug as soon as anyone picks her up. She is always the first of the group to nuzzle up in the crook of your neck and take a nap. Currently living in a foster home with a wide variety of animals, she has proven to do wonderful with cats and dogs of various breeds, ages, and sizes. Juniper is fully vetted. With that said: she has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, dewormed/put-on preventions (covering both heartworm and fleas/ticks/worms), and vaccinated according to the most current puppy vaccine scheduling. In addition to her vetting, Juniper has been started on some basic puppy training, including kennel and potty training. If you are looking for a pup that will always keep you on your toes, Juniper is your girl! If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. Story
Peaches, one of the three little girls in our fruit-inspired litter that recently found their way into ARPO's care, is the true definition of a velcro pup that would prefer nothing other than to spend every waking moment with her human. This little one's litter was surrendered to a shelter up north, and ARPO decided to drive up there to get the remaining group and pull them out of the shelter environment so that they would have the opportunity to experience fancy living in a house full of furry friends. If I had to choose a word to describe Peaches, it would be "darling". This sweet little pup will follow you to the ends of the earth, and she will do so with a smile on her face. Since day one, she has been following her foster mom around no matter what is on the agenda. It is no secret that this little red bundle of fluff would love nothing more than to climb into your pocket (if she could fit) and tag along to any and all activities that you have planned for the day. Currently residing in a foster home with a wide variety of animals, she is proven to do very well with both dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes. However, people are by far her favorite. Peaches is fully vetted. With that said: she has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, dewormed/put-on preventions (covering both heartworm and fleas/ticks/worms), and vaccinated according to the most current puppy vaccine scheduling. In addition to her vetting, Peaches has been started on some basic puppy training, including kennel and potty training.
