Meet Denzel — A Loyal Heart Worth Earning 🐾 Denzel is a handsome 5-year-old Chow Chow who isn’t looking for a whole crowd of friends—he’s looking for his person. Denzel is the definition of a one-person kind of dog. The world can be a scary place for him, and he is fearful of people he doesn’t know. He tends to feel more comfortable around women than men, but what matters most to Denzel is having someone who will give him the time, patience, and space he needs to build trust on his own terms. And earning Denzel’s trust is something special. ❤️ Once Denzel decides that you’re his person, you get to see a completely different side of him. With someone he trusts, Denzel can be sweet and cuddly, and when he’s feeling especially comfortable, you may even get to witness the elusive Denzel Zoomies! Denzel is also an A+ houseguest. He is completely housetrained and has never had an accident in the home. He thrives with consistency and would be happiest in a quiet, predictable environment where he can settle into a dependable daily routine. One of Denzel’s greatest strengths is his relationship with other dogs. He does wonderfully with dogs in the home and actually looks to them for guidance, watching their behavior to help him understand that things are safe and okay.
