I am scheduled for open heart surgery on the 29th. The surgeon is encouraging us to rehome our dog, Harlow. He's a big breed, and at 20 months is still a rowdy adolescent who is still sure he fits in my lap, and still stands up to put his nose in my face to say hello. Apparently, at 80 pounds of "still a puppy" I am at risk for having my sternum rebroken by any of his daily activities. Our baby needs a home, and quickly. Know anybody who wants a fairly well trained big white fluffball of a dog? No fee involved; we just want him in a good place. Message me if you can be of any help please. Harlow is 82 pounds, current on his shots, has been neutered, walks well on a leash, follows a few basic commands, and loves to chase his soccer balls. Please help us keep him out of the pound

Story
I got Harlow from a single mother with three small children. She could not keep up with the dog and the kids. We got him at six months and he is now 21 months old. Weighs approx 80 lbs. He has gone to doggy day care and the staff tells me he behaves well. He is reactive. He has never hurt anyone. Just wants to meet and say hi to everyone. He is 50/50 Great Pyrenees and German Shepard. My 70 year old wife is having open heart surgery in two weeks . Her surgeon says the dog cannot be around her for approximately 6 months, that is the reason we must rehome him. He is listed on the Great Pyrenees rescue website. We will miss him greatly but he must go. If we cannot find him a home, then, he will need go to the dog pound.

Meet Lucy! 🐾 Lucy is a beautiful, affectionate cattle dog with a big personality and lots of energy. She needs an active owner who can give her daily walks, exercise, attention, and continued training. She is smart, trainable, playful, and loves being around people—especially giving lots of kisses and licks! Lucy came with our family all the way from Sicily to the United States, so this decision has not been easy. Unfortunately, with our growing family and other dogs, we can no longer give Lucy the individual time and activity she deserves. She is fully vaccinated, including rabies, and will come with her records, crate, leash, food, and belongings. We’re looking for a responsible, permanent home, preferably with someone experienced with energetic or working breeds. A home with room to exercise would be ideal. Rehoming fee applies. Please message me and tell me about the home you could provide Lucy. ❤️🐶
