She didn’t mind. Boji? Mildly skeptical. But in a dignified way.He greeted me calmly, took a few treats (thank you very much), and even sat on cue a couple of times. Yes, sir. He seems smart. Not flashy-smart. Quietly-smart. The kind of dog who listens, processes, and then decides you’re worth cooperating with.When I asked the volunteer how he’s been for her, she didn’t hesitate: “Perfect.”That’s a bold word — and she meant it. She said he walks nicely on leash and was easy to get out of the kennel. No drama. No theatrics. Just a solid, dependable guy doing his thing.Later, when I passed by his kennel, he was calmly laying on his bed like a dog who understands the value of conserving energy and inner peace.Boji gives off steady, grounded, old-soul energy. The kind of dog who doesn’t need chaos to shine. He’s polite, composed, and seems like he’d make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, mellow partner in life.If you’re ready for a calm, smart, well-reviewed gentleman, Boji is waiting at Flagler Humane Society.Five stars.
