Vegas is a 1 year old female Great Pyrenees who recently found her way into our care as a stray after being picked up by Harrison County Animal Control. She did have a collar on but sadly her family did not come for her. The Pyrenees breed make amazing companion and working dogs. As a large breed dog they are always considered gentle giants. They have thick waterproof double coats which are perfect for cold changing weather conditions. However, this also means that in summer time they need lots of shade, shelter, and grooming upkeep so they do not overheat. With a calm demeanor they tend to be great with other dogs, livestock, and kids. Vegas is an exact description of her breed, 67lbs, will be spayed upon adoption, and is heartworm negative.
