Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi there. I’m Daisy Mae. I’m a four-year-old Great Pyrenees girl, about 85 pounds of fluff, dignity, and selective listening. I’m super sweet and I genuinely love people. I’ll lean on you, follow you from room to room, and act like you’re the most important human who ever existed… until I decide the backyard needs patrolling or that squirrel needs a full security briefing. Then suddenly I have somewhere very important to be. I’m good with other dogs, though I can be a little bossy. I prefer things run my way. I’m a classic Great Pyrenees in all the best and worst ways: loyal, calm, affectionate, and majestic when I want to be… and independent, stubborn, and convinced I know better than you when I don’t feel like cooperating. I come with the full Pyr package. I was found with another female, a male dog, and a whole crowd of 18 puppies. It was a lot. I made it through, and now I’m ready for a quieter, more predictable life. I’m looking for a home that understands Great Pyrenees (or is at least willing to learn). Someone who can appreciate a big, loving guardian who also has strong opinions about how the world should work. If you’ve got patience, a sense of humor, and room for a fluffy supervisor named Daisy Mae, we might just get along. Ready when you are, Daisy Mae

We transport them to new states once adopted. **ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+.** Our app can be found at **haydudeequine.org* Meet Maggie Maggie is a beautiful Great Pyrenees mix, around 5 years old, and she's ready for a new chapter in life. For most of her life, Maggie has been a working girl and livestock guardian, doing what she was born to do—watch over and protect her animals. She is wonderful with livestock, cats, and all kinds of animals, and she gets along well with other dogs, too. But these days, Maggie would love to trade some of that hard work for something much simpler: a soft place to land, a peaceful home, and someone to love on her. She absolutely loves people and is great with kids. Despite her guardian-dog background, Maggie has a sweet, gentle side and would happily spend her days being petted, relaxing, and enjoying the company of her family. - Around 5 years old - Good with other dogs - Good with cats - Great with livestock & animals - Good with kids - Loves people - Experienced livestock guardian who is ready to be loved and spoiled Maggie has spent her life taking care of everyone else. Now its her turn to be taken care of. She deserves a family who will let her put her paws up, relax, and enjoy being someone's beloved companion. Could Maggie be the gentle giant your family has been waiting for?

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Whiskey Meet Whiskey, a handsome Lab/Great Pyrenees mix born in December 2024 and weighing around 50 pounds. This sweet boy has spent his whole life as a guard and working dog, but now he's ready to hang up his work hat and discover how wonderful it is to simply be a normal, loved pup. Whiskey is a total sweetheart who is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with people and kids. He's also incredibly social and has done great with all kinds of animals—including goats, chickens, cows, horses, cats, and other dogs. Talk about an all-around good boy! After spending his life looking out for everyone else, Whiskey would love nothing more than to retire into a family where he can soak up lots of love, play, relax, and enjoy being part of the family. He'd especially enjoy having a doggie or kitty friend to keep him company and share some fun with. Whiskey has so much love to give and is ready for the next chapter of his life—one filled with belly rubs instead of guard duty, playtime instead of work, and a family of his very own. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet, people-loving companion who gets along with just about everyone, Whiskey could be your perfect match!
