Story
Dusty is my parents' dog. She is a sweet girl, but her person had dementia prior to his death. Since then she has lived with his widow who has not been able to properly care for her.Dusty is lower energy, but can be excitable when a doorbell rings or new people arrive, and might be more active given the opportunity. She likes people and is curious about the world. Dusty would do well in a structured household with a patient owner. She is a big girl and would enjoy a yard. She was house-broken, but has been in an inconsistent household for several years and needs to be retrained. She walks reasonably well on leash but doesn't heel. She knows basic commands.Dusty is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is very resistant to having her paws and abdomen touched. In the short term, Dusty needs grooming and consistent care, as she hasn't been properly groomed for several years.Dusty will be a great dog for the right owner. With some positive attention, she will give you her love!
