Story
Meet Cupcake! Cupcake is a playful, confident kitten with a big personality and an even bigger purr! The most outgoing of her siblings, she's always ready for fun, whether she's chasing toys, romping around with her littermates, or exploring something new. When playtime is over, Cupcake comes running for attention. She loves pets, happily soaks up affection, and rewards you with loud, contented purrs. Her sweet, friendly nature makes her an easy kitten to fall in love with. If you're looking for a confident, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling with her playful antics and melt your heart with cuddles, Cupcake is ready to find her forever home! Please note: Cupcake is shown as a Russian Blue Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. More information & application [ts=1793952015&src=aap]

Story
Meet Shadow — A Sweet Girl Waiting for Her Second Chance Meet Shadow, a beautiful, silky-gray Russian Blue kitty with a quiet soul and a heart that’s just waiting to feel safe again. Shadow was recently returned through no fault of her own after her beloved human dad became ill and could no longer care for her. It has been a lot of change for this gentle girl, and right now she’s understandably shy, quiet, confused, and a little stressed by everything that has happened. Shadow will need a calm, patient home where she can take her time settling in and feel comfortable at her own pace. She may not be the kitty who immediately runs up to greet you, but with patience, kindness, and a little understanding, we hope she’ll discover that she is safe and loved again. What Shadow needs most is a second chance — a peaceful home where she can leave the uncertainty behind and spend the rest of her life being spoiled with love, affection, cozy comforts, and all the gentle attention she deserves. Sometimes the quietest kitties have the sweetest hearts. We’re hoping someone will look past Shadow’s initial shyness and see the wonderful companion she has the potential to become. Could you be the patient, loving person who gives Shadow the second chance she’s waiting for? ? Please note: Shadow is shown as a Russian Blue based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Shadow is shy and needs a quiet home with no young children. (The San Diego Humane Society offers a Shy Cat training class over Zoom.)More information & application [ts=1793952015&src=aap]

Story
Just under 4 months old Little Foot lost his ear early on, and also missing a toe, but he doesn't let that slow him down.  In fact, it gives him an extra-special look.  When you meet him, he's the first to wiggle up to you and start purring, proving that while he might look different, his heart is open to love from everywhere.  He's not missing anything; he's just perfectly, uniquely Little Foot.  We hope his special person can look beyond his physical differences and take this lettle fella home. Please note: Little Foot is shown as a Russian Blue Mix based solely on his appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. More information & application [ts=1793952015&src=aap]
