Meet Fisher — A Big Boy With an Even Bigger Heart â¤ï¸ Fisher has been through a heartbreaking loss, but through it all, he has had his beloved feline companion by his side. When their elderly owner passed away, Fisher suddenly found himself without the home and person he had always known. Fisher is a handsome Russian Blue mix with an impressive set of polydactyl paws, sporting six toes on each front foot. At 16 pounds, he's definitely a big boy, but his heart is even bigger! Outgoing, affectionate, and incredibly social, Fisher loves people and is happiest when he's receiving attention, cuddles, and companionship. He's the kind of cat who settles in quickly and makes himself part of the family. He gets along well with other cats and has even done well with dogs. Fisher is currently working toward a healthier weight and will need a family committed to helping him stay on track with his diet. His biggest challenge? He absolutely adores dry food and has perfected the art of convincing people he's starving! Behind all that extra fluff is a sweet, loving boy with so much affection to give. Fisher has already experienced the loss of the person he loved most. The one thing we don't want him to lose is hope.
