Story
Oakley is a very outgoing former breeder female Labradoodle. She is five years young, gets along great with dogs and people alike.   This girl is so full life and always happy. A smile is constantly on her face. She is very deserving of a loving family to call her own!  She is a rather large girl who weighs 70 pounds. Does really well inside the house. Appears to be house trained! Does not bother the cats. A couch cuddler who enjoys watching movies.   Shedding is not an issue with Oakly!  Currently, she is being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. Her adoption fee is $450. That does cover the cost of transport as well. ##2604261##

Great girl. Loving, cuddly, anxious to please. Very intelligent and learns fast. Unfortunately because of personal health and energy issues we are not able to do this great little girl the best home she deserves. It’s not her fault, it’s mine. She deserves and will appreciate so much more!

Story
Boo is a 9‑month‑old Black Lab Retriever we adopted as a puppy, and he's grown into a sweet, energetic, lovable dog. We are looking for a new home for him where he can have the space, activity, and attention he deserves. He would do well with an active family, someone with a yard, or anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors with a playful young dog. He is friendly, curious, and full of that classic Lab enthusiasm.

Story
Meet Sugarbear! She is an approximately 45 lb., 3.5 year old, hound/lab mix. Sugar was found on a roadside in rural Arkansas with another dog when she was around 18 months old. Her friend was adopted, but Sugar has remained in rescue. We are hoping that she can finally find her forever home too.    Sugarbear needs a special adopter who will be willing to work with her quirky personality & high energy level. While very loving & goofy, she does exhibit some challenging behaviors, so an experienced dog owner is a must. Sugarbear enjoys playing with other similar-sized dogs, however, she is not small dog or cat friendly. Meet & greets with any potential canine housemates are a must.   Sugarbear loves to run hard & play hard with her foster brother, a large dog. Although he is bigger, she generally runs circles around him! Sugar is a phenomenal walker when harnessed, but does pull when only leashed. She is very strong for her size. Sugar has a very keen sense of smell & thoroughly enjoys checking things out when on a walk. She is weary of strangers & will bark at them. When inside the house, she gets very excited & will often jump up for attention & try to “kiss” people entering the room.   While Sugarbear has been with a foster since her rescue, she has not been inside the home full-time due to small animals being present. During her inside time, she enjoys chewing her toys, lounging on the couch, and getting lots of belly rubs! She is very loving & thinks she is a lap dog! Sugar loves to jump. She can get major air! Unfortunately, she will jump on counters to sniff things quite quickly (she is very scent-oriented), but she also is receptive to verbal correction & is highly food-motivated. She is completely crate-trained, house-trained, & knows how to use a doggy door. Sugar is also familiar with getting her nails trimmed regularly. She adores her groomer & gets lots of belly scratches while he does her nails.   Sugar is always very happy to see her foster family & loves treats, ear rubs, & belly-scratches. She is extremely smart, but again, high-energy. A confident, seasoned dog owner who understands her needs would be the ideal adopter for Sugarbear. Her foster mom feels she would benefit from professional dog-training & would most likely be successful due to her intelligence & being so well-motivated by treats, smells, & love. ArkanPaws is willing to donate some funds towards an approved trainer/training program.    While we know it will not be an easy task to find the right adopter for Sugarbear, we have hope that her person is out there. Despite her challenging behaviors, she is ultimately just a goofy, sweet girl who deserves to be loved & confident, living life in a forever home of her very own. Sugar's foster mom is available via phone to answer any questions. Thank you so much for reading about our beautiful girl! ##2666130##
