Hi. Simba is a very friendly and energetic dog. He's 9 months old (born July 15th 2022) and about 80 lbs. We adopted him from a local shelter. We run a restaurant, and originally, only one of us was working so we had time to take care of him and our newborn baby. But because of current circumstances, now both of us have to work there to keep ourselves afloat, and we just do not have the time to give him the proper attention that he needs and deserves, since now we're out of the house 12 hours+ a day. We have half-trained him, to the best of our abilities. He does heed basic commands like sit, but it might take a few repetitions. He is trained to go to the bathroom outside, or on pee pads only, so he does not pee or poo elsewhere. He has a lot of energy and sometimes jumps up on guests (in a friendly manner) despite our best efforts at training, so this behavior is something that will need to be trained out. We really hope that Simba can go to a loving and caring home. Thank you!

Hi, my name is Kaylee! I love to play in the kiddie pool so you could say that I'm a water dog. I'm agreeable with other dogs and I'm the perfect size for a dog, not too big and not too small. Can't wait to splash around with you! All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.  Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.  If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application.
