Story
Meet Rocket – Your Personal Launchpad to Fun and Cuddles! Ready for blastoff? Rocket is here to take your heart on an out-of-this-world adventure! This spunky, outgoing young lovebug is bursting with energy and affection—and he’s got the perfect mix of playfulness and snuggle skills. Whether he’s zooming around during playtime or curling up for a cozy cuddle session, Rocket knows how to make every moment count. Rocket’s a star player in playgroups and knows his doggy manners like a champ. He loves making furry friends and thrives when he’s got other pups to chase and wrestle with. Because of his social nature, we recommend Rocket find a home with other dogs or a family who can treat him to regular trips to the dog park—after all, even the most amazing rockets need to blow off some steam! Found as a stray, Rocket’s past is a bit of a mystery, but you’d never guess it—he acts like he’s always been surrounded by loving humans. His signature happy dance will have you grinning every time he spots his favorite people or dinner coming his way. Though Rocket is still learning the ropes of basic obedience, he’s already impressing everyone with his leash manners, often staying close by your side on walks like the perfect co-pilot. If you’re ready to add a little rocket fuel to your life and bring home a furry friend who’s equal parts playful and loving, come meet Rocket at the Ranch today! Your heart—and your couch—will thank you! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       August 6, 2026, 8:51 am

Story
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
