Story
Meet Ivy our new girl at Save1Pet. She's a very confident dog and loves human attention. Great with her sister dog. She weighed in at 20 pounds yesterday and still has a way to go to fill out her boney body. She's got a fuzzy coat that camouflages how thin she is. She was found hiding in the bushes with her sister in rural Mississippi July 17th. Ivy is about 3 1/2 to 4 months old. Has her first and second puppy shot and bordetella. Nexgard for fleas n ticks. Her spay and Microchip is set for August 31st. She is kennel trained and her ribs are no longer showing. We think there's some Anatolian shepherd and something that has a curly coat. Doodle? Poodle? We are working on kennel training now. So far she's doing pretty well. her spay surgery is set for August 31st. She will get a microchip as well. If interested in giving her a home, please send us an email and we will send you an application to fill out. saveonepet@gmail.com Her adoption fee is $150. Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home. Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention. For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification. When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract

Story
Lily is a 2–3-year-old, spayed Labrador mix weighing about 65 lbs. I found her during a winter snowstorm after she wandered onto my property looking for shelter. After trying to find her owner, I decided to give her a safe home. Lily loves people and gets excited when meeting someone new. Once she settles down, she enjoys staying close to her family, leaning against you, or quietly relaxing nearby. She is house-trained, rides well in the car, sleeps through the night, and stands calmly during baths. She knows “sit,” loves chewing on bones, and enjoys running around a fenced yard, exploring, and sniffing more than playing fetch. She has lived with both cats and dogs and has done well after slow introductions. Lily is very food-motivated and should be fed measured meals instead of free-feeding. Rehoming her has been a very difficult decision, but I want her to have the time, attention, and active home she deserves. I’m looking for the right forever family for this sweet girl.
