She is very smart and well trained. She knows many commands and is completely potty trained. She has shown no problem with sleeping in the crate at night. She seems quite comfortable with having her own cozy space in the crate and will often take herself there for naps throughout the day. She is a super chewer and will rip the squeaker out of a toy faster than you can believe. Despite her love for chewing toys up, she has not chewed on anything she isn’t supposed to chew, not even her dog bed! She’s good with other dogs but like many dogs is a bit protective of her food so separating her at meal times may be best. She’s an active dog who would make an amazing hiking buddy. Her recall is superb. She does enjoy digging so if your manicured lawn is important to you, she may not be your girl. In her previous foster home, she had a sandbox to play in. Did we mention that she is fine with cats and horses!! Abby is about 3 years old, spayed, microchipped and completely up to date of vaccines. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Nancy (nancy.hemphill@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Jax is a 2-year-old neutered 80# lab that is super energetic and ball motivated. He loves kids, is nervous of men, but warms up quickly to them. He is house and crate trained and does well with other large dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats or small creatures. All Day Dog Adventures in Kalispell will donate 2 free private training sessions to work on his training. He has eaten rocks before, resulting in emergency surgery, so he will need continued monitoring and structure to prevent this behavior in the future. He is thriving with structure and is trained to use a basket muzzle for outside time if needed. Jax is a typical, friendly, handsome black lab. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. One of the things people often ask is whether or not a dog is cat friendly. And very often we don’t know or we have to say no. Well here is a ridiculously cat friendly puppy!! Sassafras, called Sassy by her foster parents, is an 11 week old puppy. She and her siblings lost their mom so the orphans were brought to us. Her foster mom says she is a lovely girl! She is smart and a quick learner and gets along with all the dogs and the cats. She loves to fetch which makes sense as we do think that she is likely a lab crossed with perhaps some herding dog and maybe a giant breed as she is a fairly big girl for her age. She has had her first set of shots and is a healthy puppy. If you are looking for a cat friendly dog, this may be your girl.  LSAR.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 20, 2026, 11:55 am
