Meet Zika!! She came in as a stray on 6/22/26. We think she is about 2 years old. It is hard to tell from the pictures but she is a big girl. She is unsure about new people and it takes her a little bit to warm up. Just go slow and give her time to feel comfortable. She is available for adoption so hurry in to meet her! Zika is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH. Phone is 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Rowdy is around a 1.5 year old, 83.6 pound, Lab (Bluetick Coonhound?) mix. Rowdy joins us through no fault of his own - his family got him being told he would be a medium sized dog (a Blue Heeler mix) and he has grown well beyond that, but in a small 2 bedroom apartment he became too large and they could not continue meeting his needs. Rowdy has shown he needed just a little time to adjust, but now that he is settled in his foster home he has shown he is smart, energetic, aims to please, and definitely needs a yard! He has met the foster home's cat and other dogs showing he is one friendly boy who plays a hard - but does no harm. He is crate trained, has not had any accidents in the house, and is doing amazing learning how to walk better on a leash with out pulling or not jumping up unless asked.
