Story
Dex is a Labradoodle who was born 9/27/2024 and weighs 68 pounds. His owner was ill and unable to care for him anymore. He is good with other dogs and children. Cats are an unknown. Dex is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It’s an amazing program! We will start taking apps but he will be in the program for a few weeks so please be patient.The adoption fee covers neuter, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing.You can apply on our website:https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html  ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.Please remember that  we are 100 % entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. Rosie born 7/21/20 is a Lab and weighs 55 lbs . She has a great personality and loves everybody she meets. She is a no nonsense kind of girl. She doesn’t need long walks. She likes to lay in a nice fenced yard and soak up the sun or be at your feet while you watch TV. She prefers to be an only pet that will just hang around with you all day.The adoption fee $150.00 covers the spay, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. Gia, born 4/4/21, is a Labrador/possible Wolfhound mix and weighs 37 lbs . She was an owner surrender. Her owner could not keep her due to finances. Gia is a happy girl, she likes everyone she meets. Very sweet! Loves other dogs, is ok with cats, and has been around kids. She is in the cell dog training program working on basic commands. The adoption fee covers the spay, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing.
