Meet Alabaster! This handsome guy recently came to us as a stray, and we are still getting to know him. We are not sure what he is mixed with, but he is a very unique looking lad! Alabaster seems to be pretty undersocialized and is nervous in new situations, so meeting strangers can be a little overwhelming for him. His ideal family will be prepared to do all of the socialization, training, and grooming a young doodle needs. Alabaster is a vocal boy, so he would do best in a house rather than a an apartment. He is nervous with new dogs but will warm up given the opportunity. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Alabaster home. Available for adoption at: Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center 1854 East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio 43701 740-453-0273 Open Tues-F 11-5, Saturday 11-4, Sunday 10-3. Closed on Monday. Adoption fee is $130 which includes spay/neuter, combo, rabies, and bordetella vaccines, heartworm test and dog license. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
