Yes Location: London, Ontario Adoption Fee: $750.00    Meet Angie: Your Loyal Companion!   This is this sweet girl’s third time in rescue, she first came to Animalert as a pup in 2021 but was quickly adopted into a loving home, where she lived a wonderful life for almost 3 years! Life is not always fair to both dogs and humans, Angie’s wonderful guardian passed away recently and no family was able to take Angie into their home. Angie was returned to our rescue to find her another wonderful home! She was rehomed for a year with another family and then was returned. Angie has spend the past few months with a trainer.    If you are looking for a great dog, here are some things you need to know about her! House-trained & Reliable: Angie is very loyal and knows how to communicate when she needs to go outside. She can hold it for long periods if necessary.   Walks & Park Time: She loves her walks in the park and is learning to interact with other dogs, though she still needs a little more practice. She is also great in the country. She loves to run and play, understand boundaries and comes when called.    Car Ride Enthusiast: Angie enjoys going for car rides and feels right at home while exploring with you.   Relaxation Expert: Whether it's hanging out on the deck or snuggling down at bedtime, Angie knows how to unwind.   Grooming Lover: She loves being brushed and enjoys trips to the groomers.   Playful Spirit: Angie adores attention, playtime, and, most importantly, pleasing her owner.   Well-Behaved: Angie understands commands like "Leave it" and responds well to a firm "No."   She enjoys her meals and waits patiently while you finish up. Sleep Options: Whether on the bed or floor with her blanket or in a crate, she finds comfort wherever she lays her head.   Training: Angie can be nervous around new people. Angie is working with a trainer to ensure he understands her communication, needs and advocates for her the best way he can. She can get nervous and bark at new people. She needs a home who understands her fears and will advocate for Angie. One trainer session with our trainer will be included in her adoption price.    Angie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, HW tested, and has received monthly preventatives! Her adoption fee will be $750.00 and will include her health records. If you are looking for a loyal companion and friend? After spending her life in a puppy mill with little care, she is eager to embrace a brighter future. Here are some wonderful things about Libby that show her sweet nature: - She is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle in your lap, bringing warmth and comfort. - She enjoys being close to you and will happily follow you around, wanting to be a part of your life. - Libby settles easily in her pen and goes to her bed without any fuss, showing her adaptability. - When you leave for work, she can be trusted to stay calm and relax in her pen, which is a testament to her easygoing personality. - She uses pee pads 100% of the time in her penned area and about 90% of the time when she wanders the house, indicating she’s learning to adjust. - Libby walks beautifully on a leash when she’s outside, eager to explore with you. - She loves the outdoors, enjoying the grass and pavement in the warmer weather, though she understandably avoids the snow. - Car rides don’t bother her, making her a great companion for outings. - She gets along well with other dogs, showing her friendly side. - She is also open to new adults, adapting well to different people. However, there are a few challenges to consider with Libby: - She is not food motivated for training; instead, she thrives on cuddles and praise, which reflects her loving spirit. - Due to dental issues, she requires soft food, so extra care will be needed in her diet. - We are working on house training, and she will need someone patient and understanding to help her learn. - Libby may feel uneasy around small children; she might bark and appear fearful, but she is not aggressive. If you believe you can provide Libby with the loving home she longs for, please consider adopting her. She has so much love to give! Libby has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, Dental, Full Blood Panel done  & has been Heartworm tested, and additionally, Libby has been on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $750.00, which includes her  health records! You can help them out with these costs by heading to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/3463   and say it’s for Libby ! Story
Cooper was adopted by me from a rescue in Troy, Michigan 4 years ago. He is now 6 years old and healthy, but I now live in Canada in a more crowded environment. He needs a quieter home, away from traffic, pets, and people. Cooper is very loyal to his owner, and requires a lot of exercise. He will fetch, catch frisbees, and play tug. A large fenced area is required for his exercise.
