Meet Cooper!*56.5 lbsCooper is a nearly 8-year-old with a big smile, a bigger heart, and plenty of pep left in his step. While he’s technically a “senior,” Cooper didn’t get the memo—he’s still a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to move, explore, and soak up all the love he can get.He’s fully housetrained, a total people-pleaser, and truly lives for affection and positive attention. Cooper wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal sidekick. He previously lived with other dogs, but he can be dog-selective, so a calm canine companion (or being your one-and-only) may be the best fit for him.Cooper would do best in a home with older, respectful children, as he appreciates gentle interactions and clear boundaries rather than the unpredictability of young kids.**One important thing to know about Cooper: he is very sensitive about his ears. Before coming into our care, he suffered from a severe, long-lasting, painful ear infection. He is currently still receiving treatment and is improving, but he will need an adopter who understands this sensitivity and can continue to be gentle, patient, and attentive with his care.Cooper is a sweet, soulful boy who has so much love left to give. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a joyful spirit and you’re willing to meet him where he is, Cooper just might be your perfect match.
