She loves to run and play, especially when she has toys to chase, toss, or carry around. Playtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, and she thrives when she has space and opportunities to burn off her energy. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk, or just zooming around the yard, she truly enjoys being active. But don’t let her playful side fool you — she is also a huge cuddle bug. After she’s had her fun, she’s more than happy to settle down and soak up affection. She loves being close to people, enjoys being pet, and will gladly curl up for some quality snuggle time. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your everyday life, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or hanging out while you go about your day. One of her biggest strengths is how great she is with kids. She is gentle, loving, and enjoys the attention.

Story
Luna is beautiful, sweet, eager to please, obedient, fully potty trained and crate trained, and has her AKC Good Canine Citizen certification. She is great on a leash. She is a love bug, super athletic, and a great sporting dog: you should see her frisbee catches. She also does 100 foot recalls and heels without a leash and loves her agility and obedience training sessions. However, she is not good with other dogs and is fearful. She also has vet anxiety. We have a newborn baby and the change in environment is making her extremely anxious. We are heartbroken to rehome her but we want what’s best for her. She would thrive with a patient, experienced owner who understands sensitive dogs.

Meet Dragonfly! This beautiful 1 year old lab mix was surrendered to us along with her sister, Junebug. Their family fell on hard times and ended up with more puppies than they could care for. Thankfully, some kind-hearted people stepped in and reached out to us, and we couldn’t turn them away. Dragonfly was very shy when she first arrived, but her personality has bloomed in a loving foster home! She is working hard on her household manners and is catching on quickly. Dragonfly is scared of young children, and would do best in a home with teenagers and older. She walks beautifully on a leash, stays close to her person, and often heels naturally without being asked. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. Dragonfly prefers her own space during mealtimes. She is absolutely obsessed with her ball (she can even throw it for herself) and has recently started getting the zoomies, which is so much fun to watch. She is curious about cats but responds well to redirection and will leave them alone when told. Initially, she was scared of her foster’s husband, but she has made incredible progress and now approaches him for belly rubs and love. If you are ready to earn the trust of a dog who will adore you forever, Dragonfly just might be your perfect match. We promised Dragonfly that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Meet Junebug! This beautiful 1 year old lab/shepherd mix was surrendered to us with her sister Dragonfly. Their family fell on hard times and ended up with more puppies than they could care for. Thankfully, some kind-hearted people stepped in and reached out to us, and we couldn’t turn them away. Junebug is an absolutely wonderful girl. She loves other dogs, playing outside, and being a goofball. Junebug is smart and athletic, and she would make a wonderful adventure partner! She is such a gem with a bright future ahead of her, and has been doing wonderfully in foster with her sister. She does not seem to do well with small dogs and cats, as she does have that shepherdy prey drive. Junebug is ready for forever! We promised Junebug that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
