After spending the first five years of her life in a backyard breeding situation, she’s now discovering what it truly means to be a dog—and she’s blossoming more each day.In just one month, Mimi has made incredible progress. She is crate trained, dog door trained, knows “sit,” and is very food-motivated, making continued training easy. She loves to cuddle, hasn't barked once, and has a calm, peaceful presence. She’s great with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and lounging with her foster siblings.Mimi is still working on occasional potty accidents after breakfast but she’s improving quickly with routine and consistency.Mimi would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands she’s still learning and is ready to help her continue to grow. She could do well in a house or apartment with regular potty breaks. She is available for pre-adoption as we need to finish off her vaccines and fix her cherry eye preferably before adoption.
