Story
Oakley is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. She absolutely loves her people and is happiest when she is with them. She does have a very active mind and is always on the go, so she’s looking for a home that appreciates a high-energy companion. She currently takes Prozac, which helps with some of her anxiety-related behaviors, and while exercise is something she enjoys, it isn’t a cure-all for her busy brain.She would thrive with someone who is home more often and enjoys having a constant sidekick. She’s wonderful with children and adults, rides beautifully in the car, loves road trips and hiking, and currently lives peacefully with another dog and cats. While our other pets aren’t always her biggest fans, Oakley is respectful of their boundaries. She has so many wonderful qualities and will make someone an incredibly loyal, loving companion for the right person who understands that she just needs extra patience, routine and medications.
