Story
Meet Roddy, our sweet, handsome, and energetic boy with the most innocent face. He is mix of poodle, Rottweiler, golden retriever, and Labrador, born on October 20, 2024, and weighs about 70 lbs. Roddy is neutered, healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and full of love. When I first got Roddy, I was working from home and could walk him several times a day. Now that I am in the office full-time, he spends most of his time in his crate, and that's just not fair to him. He deserves more time, space, and attention than I can give. Roddy is incredibly smart, playful, high-energ energy and affectionate. He still thinks he is a little pup who can fit on your lap, not realizing he is almost bigger than you! He thrives in a loving, active home that can match his energy and give him the love and freedom he deserves. We are heartbroken to let him go, but we truly want what is best for him. We are asking for a small rehoming fee to go toward his neutered cost.

Meet Biscuit! 🐾😍 If you’re looking for a dog who can turn an ordinary day into a happy one, look no further — Biscuit’s got you covered! This 3-year-old Double Doodle is a walking ray of sunshine wrapped in soft curls and pure love. Biscuit is the definition of “happy-go-lucky.” He’s always smiling, tail wagging like it’s his full-time job, and thrilled to tag along no matter what you’re doing. Need a walking buddy? He’s there. Couch-snuggle supervisor? Also there. Snack-sharing partner? Don’t even have to ask. He’s super social and adores kids — he lights up when they’re around and will happily join in on playtime. He also gets along great with other dogs and would love a furry friend to chase and romp with. Biscuit has plenty of playful energy and would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, backyard zoomies, or the occasional adventure. When playtime’s over, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for belly rubs and head scratches, and he prefers to sleep in the bed with his people 🥰 He’s crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations — a total good boy through and through. Biscuit is ready to bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail wags to his forever family. 💛 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Story
Bolt is a super friendly, cuddly rescue pup. I have had him about two years and he is a wonderful companion suited for a busy household. He would thrive in a home with children. He gets along great with other dogs as I have two. He plays hard but mostly when a human is present so I believe he would also do well in a home without other dogs. Bolt has separation that is mostly under control (meds), this is why I believe he needs a home with multiple people so he always has comfort, he will let you pet on him all day. He has been through multiple rounds of training so he knows basic commands and will follow them. His biggest struggle is being created by anyone other than myself so a home that allows him to free roam or with minimal boarding would have the easiest transition. Zero aggression, no matter the situation. Loves to swim, recall with distractions could use some work. Favorite toy types: benebone, rope toys, plush toys (to tear up), and soccer balls.

Story
Kobe will be 5 years old in Jan/Feb 2026. We got him at 6 months old. He is loving and close with owners. Does not do well with strangers. Very protective of owners and the house. Barks at strangers in house or someone he's not comfortable with. Loves being close to you, on the couch, in the bed. Loves being outside, sniffing, and sun bathing. Needs a fenced in yard with other dogs around. Loves doggy day care. Chases smaller animals, like squirrels. Needs a home with no children and no other pets, except dogs his size. Has separation anxiety. Picky eater when it comes to dog food. Loves human food and snacks (slim Jims, canned tuna, etc). Loves treats and bones to play with. Super chill as long as you're around and he's comfortable. As soon as he sees a stranger near the house he barks. He tends to take better to woman than men, but it takes time to warm up to someone new. He needs to have room to be active and feel loved, shown affection, and able to roam around the house. No crates.
