Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 (FREE!) if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Clyde is a two-year-old Black Lab mix with a whole lot of charm, a whole lot of smarts, and an absolutely legendary reaction to the sight of a tennis ball. This friendly, outgoing 45-pound boy is one of those dogs who makes friends everywhere he goes and brings genuine joy to everyone lucky enough to meet him. At home, Clyde is sweet, affectionate, and perfectly happy to spend an evening snuggled on the couch with his people. Out in the world, he is energetic, curious, and ready for whatever adventure comes next. He knows sit, down, stay, heel, and wait, picks up new commands quickly, and is highly treat motivated, making him a trainer's dream. He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, sleeps in his crate at night and gets along with other dogs and older teen children. Homes with cats are not a good fit for Clyde, however. Now, about that tennis ball - Clyde will chase it with full force and unbridled enthusiasm, sprinting after it like it is the most important mission of his life. Bringing it back is a skill still very much in development, but the look on his face mid-chase makes the whole thing completely worthwhile. Clyde does get motion sickness in the car, so a family who lives close to good walking trails or has a fenced yard for outdoor play would be ideal. He is smart, loving, and full of potential, and is looking for an active family ready to spend a little time and training for a dog who will absolutely give it all back and then some. To learn more about Clyde, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today! Clyde's adoption fee is waived so his adoption is free if he is picked up in Tennessee.      Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. August 20, 2026, 12:17 pm

Story
Meet Bindi! 🖤 Bindi is a 1½-year-old Black Lab with a heart of gold. She is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet and is happiest when she’s curled up beside her people. She absolutely loves to snuggle on the couch, take naps, and soak up belly rubs. In fact, she’ll often walk right up to you and flop onto her back, just waiting for you to give her some love! Wherever you go, Bindi wants to be right there with you. She’s a true shadow who loves spending time with her family. Whether it’s a car ride, golf cart ride, a four-wheeler adventure, or simply tagging along for the day, Bindi is always ready to go. She has been wonderful with small children (ages 3 and 1) and has a gentle, affectionate personality. Bindi is housebroken, crate trained, and knows sit and down. She has excellent recall, is incredibly eager to please, and is exceptionally intelligent. She is also emotionally intuitive and forms strong bonds with her people, making her an excellent candidate for continued training. Like many young Labs, Bindi does have a mischievous streak! If given the opportunity, she’ll happily surf the counters looking for snacks or investigate the trash for hidden treasures. Keeping food put away and trash secured will help set her up for success. Because of her prey drive, Bindi should not be placed in a home with chickens or other poultry. Bindi is currently a little hesitant around other dogs. If you have another dog in the home, we will require a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone is a good match. Overall, Bindi is simply looking for her best friend. She is loyal, loving, incredibly smart, and wants nothing more than to be by your side. With a little guidance and continued training, Bindi has all the qualities to become an amazing lifelong companion.
