🫎 Meet Moose — A Big Boy with a Soft Coat & an Even Softer Heart! 🫎Moose is a big, handsome boy with one of the softest, prettiest coats around—and a personality to match! He's a gentle guy who has been absolutely wonderful with staff and new people here at CHA.One of Moose's favorite activities is going for walks, and he's a total pro on leash. His goofy, happy personality really shines when he's out exploring or getting some time to play outside. When he's not adventuring, he's perfectly content hanging out in the shade and enjoying the peaceful life. He's also quiet in his kennel and keeps his space nice and clean. Basically, Moose has excellent houseguest potential. 😉Moose is very food motivated—and by “food motivated,” we mean this boy approaches dinner like he's been training for an Olympic eating event. 😂 He absolutely inhales his meals, so a slow feeder is a must. He has also shown some food-bowl guarding, which means a home with children would not be the best fit for him. His future family will need to be comfortable respecting his space around food and continuing to work with him.Moose enjoys meeting other dogs and is happy to socialize with them, but when it comes to sharing his actual home, he'd prefer to be an only dog. He's perfectly happy being the king of his castle!With his gentle nature, love of walks, goofy personality, and gorgeous coat, Moose has a lot to offer. He's looking for a family who will appreciate his quirks, give him some room to be himself, and enjoy all the happy adventures this big boy has to offer.If you're looking for a big, handsome, gentle companion with a goofy side and a serious appreciation for snacks, Moose might be your guy! 🫎❤️All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
